Lauren Cavanaugh, Clinical Director
Lauren Cavanaugh is a Clinical Director at Relief Recovery Center’s Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) in Falmouth, MA.
After getting her B.S. in Psychology from UMass Dartmouth, she went on to pursue a Master’s degree in social work and attended Boston University. She started off practicing mental health treatment in 2016 and transitioned into inpatient psychiatric care.
Growing up in Fairhaven, Massachusetts, Lauren knows first-hand the challenges of dealing with alcoholism in a family. As a young girl, she thought, “I want to help others.” After facing her own tough times and getting through them, she felt even stronger about this.
“I’ve seen how addiction touches so many lives. I started working in this field years ago and haven’t looked back. It’s amazing to see our clients find hope and start fresh. I’m grateful every day to be a part of their journey.”
